The X was placed in this center block on December 14th 2006. You can (by use of the æther) travel backward in time and rearrange the physical objects. To do this you select and click on one of the empty boxes. Be aware that you have now influenced the present (real time) and the game may fade or cease to exist. Other outside influences may already have occurred. They are best described as Aliens from space, again, landing in or near Mt Vernon Kentucky. In that case the rearranging (since December 14th and present) has already been done and your efforts will be influenced.
