The Secret Code

For the weak that must have a God there is a secret code. Crack it. The Golden Section was discovered by both the Mayans and Pythagoras. The Golden Section, sometimes called the Golden Mean, has a close relationship with Pi. They both are incomplete numbers. Meaning they go on infinitely. Pi (π) is 3.141592+ and the Golden Section (Φ) is a ratio of 1.618+ to 1.

Both of these are important because they are infinite numbers (meaning they are not absolute).  However the Golden Section appears to be the most important. This is because both the Greeks and Mayans found it without apparent reference to each other.

Jack's Theorem was created by trying to combine these two numbers and reaching a whole number instead of an infinite fraction. It could not. However, it did conclude that the act of combining or in doing or moving is the most important. If you run any two positive numbers through Jack's Theorem you will always get the answer three. This is possible because Jack's Theorem is measuring the number of times that you are combining the numbers and not measuring the numbers themselves. Jack's Theorem is my crack of the code. The Act is truth. However, I do not claim to have cracked it correctly. Since Jack's Theorem (early 1990's) I have researched and discovered more about the Golden Mean. It does appear to have the secret code of God. Even if I am correct and it is "The Act is truth", I would assume it has details that I did not discover. That is your job. Crack the code of God.

Symmetry, Closure, and Knowledge

Before I get into construction of the Golden Section in great detail, We have to have an understanding of symmetry, closure, and knowledge. They are all the same. It is much like if we see something once we will not learn it. It will just pass through our mind. If we see the same thing twice then we recognize it as significant because it then becomes not only our Gestalt World but a specific part of that Gestalt World. That is symmetry. Closure is an art creation attribute. Symmetry is the closure. When we as draftsmen and/or painters are looking at our environment to paint it or draw it we are creating a symmetry with the real world environment and our creation. When we perceive this mark for our drawing/painting correctly it is closure. Visual Artists are the closure people. It has been said by me and many others that the artists sees a discrepancy in the world and are compelled to fix it. That is why Artists are the rebels of the society. They happen to be the only one looking at their world because the creation of art demands it. In summary; The symmetry that exist in the real world environment or is created by the act of the painter is the knowledge of each civilizations contemporary society.

Even though Newton really pinned it down for us around 300 years ago we, as a species, always knew that Gravity existed. Since we didn't know the distance to the sun, stars, etc, we probably didn't know that all things that went up had to come down (actually they do not - when something hits another gravity field it does not fall back to earth and we do have magnetic levitation). Primal Man also saw birds fly so they probably would not have believed Newton anyway. The creators of the Golden Section were probably map makers. Maps have been around very early in our recorded history if not a long time prior to it. The rock stacks of prehistoric Canadians appear to be maps. They were done without other records.  Even infants have a concept of space and an innate map knowledge of their surroundings. Studies of Rats also show that they can map. Even the simplest of species have elaborate mapping [Bee Dance] These primal men would sense that the most powerful force on earth was gravity. However the map makers were not overly concerned with gravity. They were concerned with horizontal things. So to create the Golden Section they had to first discover the right angle. Remember symmetry is involved here so they could not only see it once but had to see it twice.

There were two easy ways they could discover it. A right angle takes two real objects and one abstract discovery. They could have discovered it by the fact that the water was always level. This was the horizontal. The Sun when directly overhead would cast no shadows on a floating object in the water. A string (In primal times a cord of some sort) when tied to a rock would always hang toward the center of the earth. No matter where they pulled the rock to, it would always swing back and stop at the same place. This was a vertical. Grabbing the swinging rock created an angle (both from the remembered vertical and the horizontal water).  The vertical is remembered when the angles are created because it is no longer there. Parallel is very simple because it is in nature in the edges of sticks and the edges of trees.

It is now just a matter of combining these natural objects and the created abstract ones (the swinging rock and perhaps the plumb line with the rock on the string which are still natural objects and only become abstract because they are combined by the primal inhabitants)
