THE INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES THAT WILL BE COMBINED TO MAKE RETRO PUNK X
| The Shock Element in Performance Art. I equate "shock" in any of the arts with creativity. An example is that if we see "A Midsummer Night's Dream" we know what to expect and there is no shock or creativity involved. The creativity was done when Shakespeare first produced and performed it. Now we know what is going to happen. Since performance Art Pieces are usually done only one time the opportunity for the use of shock/creativity is great. I have tried to build as many shock elements into Retro Punk X as possible. (Shock) is a major aspect of Performance Art and you really need it. With the singer will have it in at least three "Shock" places if all performances get combined. One will be the Marxist Rally (In my original inspiration of the Communist Cafe Performance I asked myself what was the last thing you would expect to see in the Streets of Dayton Ohio. It was the Marxist rally with all its colors. It actually is a Soviet Union rally. I concluded it would be safe because the Soviet Union was dead by the time of the first performance) The third one is the Cannibalistic Ritual of drinking the "fat of man". My research on my sites and video clips shows a greater interest in Ed Gein than any other video. |

SÉANCE The séance has been worked on for at least 5 years with a lot of possibilities. One being a real séance since Captain3 is in the æther anyway. Another was a totally fake. And yet another was a combination of fake and real. At this point it is designed as a combination of fake and real. The combination of fake and real leaves the audience guessing as to what is real and what is not. This is a very good Performance Art concept and I have used it many times in my other previous performances. SÉANCE There has been added the Internet séance to where the Medium has called Rasputin to tell your fortune. |
CAPTAIN3 Captain3 is the disturbance in the force performer. His performance will be made to stand alone. In this manner any electro/magnetic means of communicating could be used. Also any electro/magnetic force could be the subject matter. In this case (due to the time limitations if all the performances are combined) He will be communicating the Marxist Environmental Theater performance to the stage venue. However, with the help of "Chuck" he could do much more. Such as explaining the æther and that we are only a disturbance in it. CAPTAIN 3 Captain also possesses a Time Machine that simulates going back in the æther and changing objects (therefore changing space and time). MARXIST RALLY The Marxist Rally is similar (or the same as) the one we conducted in Miamisburg Ohio in 2005. It is pure Environmental Theater since it takes place in the real world and it also has that concept of "the audience guessing as to what is real and what is not." CHUCK "Chuck" is the name of this Retro Punk X internet site. If "Chuck" is thought of as a performer he will be thought of as the performer that will attract more viewers than the live performance. However, "Chuck" is live. He just isn't live the same time the remainder of us are performing. Well, yes he is because he has all this information that is accessible before, during and after the performance. After the performance it is like he creates a time warp in the performance (or the æther) and it is done over and over again. For "Chuck" there is the absolute necessity of documentation (video and stills).
